Beyond belief!!!
The blur of the picture, the ‘shadow’ empowers the
master ‘the time’ as one can feel the essence, can see
the shine of the golden times. This shine is rich enough
to do magic- to flow from mind to lips to bring a smile
on face, a glitter in the eyes thus bursting the fatigue
again.
It is still fresh, the freshness of that day, and the
excitement in the mind, that early morning where we
started unwrapping the first gift to us by our
prestigious college- the welcome gift “an outbound
session” first ever of its kind with an overnight
session. Less than a week in SIIB, and one hundred and
eighty different people coming together for a common
cause – capture SINGHGARH FORT.
The experience unbound, although was felt, right from
there but the ‘betters’ and ‘bests’ were yet to come.
“Education is freedom”
It was one of the rarest situations where ‘Andre Gide’
was really applicable and education was not ruining even
a single soul. The education started flowing and we were
all getting into it. The foremost step being
‘interaction’. Knowing each other in that environment
was easy and efficient.
‘A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step’
and here we started our journey when we left the
premises of the city, mingling with nature-lush green
vegetation, mighty mountains, placid lakes on the way.
Mind went restless to explore even more about the place
we were heading towards- the backwaters: the shantivan.
The nomenclature absolutely suits the emotions attached
to it-‘shanti’ i.e. the calmness of mind, body and soul.
The place and environment was engulfed with positive
energy that made every single step ready to train us.
It is said,
“Training is everything. The peach was once a bitter
almond; cauliflower is nothing but a cabbage without a
college education”
Training was there for fundamentals of life that touched
every nook and corner of mind. We received the lessons
that were amalgations of teamwork, discipline, decision
making, confidence, self reliance, healthy competitions,
and enthusiasm. ‘creativity’ was the umpire of the game
directing everything along its line. But above all the
soul of the show was three E’s…
Enjoyment, energy and experience…
Thus to the nutshell making it-
BEYOND BELIEF!!!
