Greetings from SIIB.
As you are aware SIIB Leadership Series is the flagship event of SIIB. This conclave held every year since 2002, cherishes and celebrates the spirit of leadership. This event has come to become an exceptional platform where some of the finest and most successful personalities of India Inc. have shared their experiences with budding managers of SIIB and delegates of prominent B-Schools. Some of the eminent speakers who have graced the event in earlier years were Mr. Homi Khusrokhan, MD, Tata Tea (2003), Mr. Adi Godrej, Chairman, The Godrej Group (2004) Mr. Habil Khorakiwala, Chairman, Wockhardt Ltd (2004), Mr. Jagdish Capoor, Chairman, HDFC Bank (2004) , Mr Richard Rushton, Managing Director, Sab Miller India (2005) Mr. A.K. This year we are trying to take another small step in strengthening our bond with you. We propose to start SIIB Alumni Leadership Award –  (Sarvashresth) . The award would be given to an alumni who has shown exemplary leadership qualities in his/her organisation/ own business in a manner that has resulted in favourable development both in his/her area of work and the community it serves.

Nominations can be made for self or for another alumni. Nomination can also be made by your organisation or by your supporter who may not be an alumni of SIIB. SIIB will be in touch with the respective organisation to request additional information if required. This information along with nomination letter would be used to evaluate the individual. The nomination would close on 10th Aug 2009 and the final decision would be made by 20th Aug 2009.

The award will be presented on SIIB Leadership Series on 12th September 2009 at SIC Auditorium, SIIB, Hinjewadi, Pune. The winner will also be one of our distinguished speaker on that day.

We would appreciate your ideas and suggestions and look forward to your support in strengthening our bonds.
