Director :
Dr. Rajani R. Gupte
M.A, M.Phil, Ph.D. (Economics).
Dr. Rajani Gupte has done her Ph.D in Economics from the
reputed Gokhale Institute of Economics and Politics, Pune.
She has 30 years of rich work experience in teaching
and research at various prestigious institutes like Loyala
College, Madras, Gokhale Institute of Politics &
Economics, Pune. She has worked as a Finance Director for
about six years for a business organization at Singrauli,
Madhya Pradesh. Since 2004 she has been a vsiting
faculty at the Oakland University , School of Business
Administration Michigan, USA. She has also addressed
Business leaders at Bremen University for applied
Sciences, Bremen, Germany She has been appointed on the
WTO cell set up by Govt. of Maharashtra, department of
Horticulture. She has published book entitled
"International Business Management". Her
Research topic is "Impact Of the WTO Regulations on the Non- tariff
Barriers of Developed Nations".
Areas of Interest : WTO, International Trade Policy, Non- Tariff
Barriers, Subsidies etc.

Dy. Director:
Mr. Avinash Purandare
B.E.(Mech), M.B.A.(Mktg.), P.G.D.F.T. (Fgn. Trade)
M.I.E., Chartered Engineer.
He is a Gold Medallist in Foreign Trade with over 19
years of experience in International Business of
which 12 years is Corporate Experience having worked at
Managerial level in Exports departments of reputed
Engineering companies like Bharat Forge. For
the last 6 years, he is working as a Professor and
Consultant in International Business. Mr. Purandare is
currently carrying out a minor research on the topic "International
Logistics & Containerisation".
Areas of Interest : International Business, Foreign Trade
Policy.

Ms. Adya Sharma
B.Sc (Hons. – Phy),PGDAMM- NIFT, Delhi.
PG Diploma in International Business law
& corporate laws of India Ms. Adya sharma has more than 10 years experience in International Business &
domestic trade with super star trading house of India,
MMTC Ltd. in various product category like textile, gems
& jewellery, etc. She is working as marketing faculty at SIIB
since 2005.Ms.
Adya sharma is currently working on the minor research project titled "
Buying Behaviour of Children"
Areas of Interest : Sales & Distribution , Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Management.

Ms. Deepa Sahasrabuddhe
B.Sc, PGDM (IIM- Ahmedabad).
She has more than 11 years of experience in industry
varying from healthcare to Agri business & Information
Technology. Her expertise lies in the areas of Marketing,
HR and Systems. She has been working as a faculty at SIIB
since 2005.Ms. Deepa is Currently working on an inhouse
research project titled " Competitive Intelligence gathering in the Indian
Context".
Areas of Interest : Marketing Management.

Ms. Viraja Bhat
B.E - (E& TC), COTN (CMC Ltd), .Consultant
Ms. Viraja Bhat has more than 13 years of experience which
comprises of industry as well as academics. She has worked
in the area of Software development & Software Quality
testing. She is a consultant for MS- Project. She has done
several corporate trainings in the field of Project
management using MS- Project for leading corporates like
Reliance, Bajaj Auto, Kirloskar group, TMTC Ltd etc. Ms.
Viraja is currently working on a minor research project titled " The Scope
of Information Technology in Rural Muncipal Schools around Pune".
Areas of Interest : Project Management, Programming Langauhes, DBMS &
RDBMS, Application Software, MS Project, SPSS,Community Development.

Ms. Manisha Ketkar

Associate Member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
Years
of experience out of which she
has 16 years of corporate experience in Pharma Sector in various capacities
as Cost accountant, Purchase Manager, & Manager Operations.She was responsible for all commercial functions of
the Business Unit i.e. Production & Distribution
Planning, Purchase, Distribution, Exports. She has 2+
years of teaching experience at SIIB. Her areas of Expertise are Costing &
SCM. She is currently working on a minor research project titled
" Supply Risk Management"
Areas of Interest : Costing, Supply Chain Management, Business
Accounting.

Mr. Suresh Bhosale
B.Tech (Agri Engg)
Mr. Suresh Bhosale has more than 30 years experience in the Agri business sector
with exposure in banking,tractor marketing and state agri industries
corporations.He was actively involved in different aspects of Agri Finance, Agri
Banking, micro Finance, Project Forumlation/Appraisal and commercial
Agriculture.He has worked as facutly for more than 4 years in an Apex level
training institution and a leading Banking institution. Mr.
Bhosale is currently working on a minor research project titled
" Achieving Energy Independence for India by sustainable production of Bio
- Fuels without food Security Risk".

research project titled " A study of Impact of Video Piracy on Mumbai Film
Industry with Special reference to Maharastra State".

handling the Corporate Relations and Placement Cell of the
Institute. Also, she is actively involved in the research

Strategy. She is currently working on the research project
titled " Strategies adopted by Indian Public Sector
banks while competing with International Retail Banking
Sector".
