This is a two-year full time residential course. Agriculture has long been seen
as a sector with tremendous potential in India. The sector contributed 22% to
India's GDP in the year 2005-06 and is expected to grow at more than 5% each
year, in real terms, over the next decade
This coupled with changing global norms such as the WTO rulings and increased
global competitiveness, proves that there is a need for
professional courses in Agribusiness

Management, and makes
it one of the most challenging and exciting sectors to be
in, either as a professional or as an entrepreneur.
The MBA-AB course is thus
a response to this growing need for professionals who can
contribute to and engineer the agribusiness revolution. This
course has certain modules exclusive to the course such as
Agriculture and WTO, Agro Export Management, Agricultural
Finance, etc. These modules prepare the students to strike the
right note when they go into the demanding world of Agribusiness
Management.
