| Projects, Internships & Research
The courses at SIIB include various practical projects. For instance, in Applied Market Research, students in groups of 8 - 10 actually undertake methodical research in diverse areas. This is an excellent grounding for the summer internships, where several companies have given fantastic appraisals of the work done by students.

Retail, Service, Poultry feed, Logistics, forging, Auto
Components etc. Similar projects in Seed Industry, Tractor Industry, Dairy
Industry, Agri Output, Cold Chain were conducted by students
of 2005-07 and 2006-08 batches.
This Project study helped the students to understand the functioning
of supply chain in various sectors, Inter-relate theory with
practical knowledge, Understand the Usage of Information
technology in SCM, Observe the scope of improvements in Supply
Chain and very importantly build team work.
Apart from the regular course work, we at SIIB, encourage our students to undertake
research activity from the areas of their interest. This activity is conducted in a group over a period of six months.
SIIB faculties guide these students in their Research work.
