Berlin School of Economics and Law [BSEL], Germany

With approximately 10,000 students, the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL) is one of the largest institutions of higher education in Germany’s capital city. The BSEL is distinguished by a clear focus on providing academic education strongly linked to real world skills, an intensive and diverse programme of research, high quality standards and a strong international approach. The University’s portfolio of programmes covers private and public sector business and economics, administration, law, security management and engineering.

BSEL has always regarded an international approach as an integral part of its vision and a key element in its higher education programmes and research. BSEL’s international networks are constantly growing with approximately 150 partnerships with universities around the world.

In the year 2011, SIIB started a credit exchange programme with BSEL, Germany with an objective to add the dimension of Consulting in the international context to the existing MBA programme in International business. Under this programme, selected students complete 2 semesters at BSEL, in International Business & Consulting [International Strategic Management].

Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany

The Flensburg University of Applied Sciences is one of Germany’s leading universities offering a wide range of Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree programmes. Currently, there are about 4,200 students enrolled in degree programmes mainly focused on engineering and economics. Cooperating with partners from industry, politics, society and other educational institutions is an integral part of the activities at Flensburg. It has more than 60 universities on 5 continents as partner universities. Its rich experience of more than 20 years in international relations and exchange programmes benefits students and gives them an opportunity to broaden their horizons and improve their foreign language skills during their studies.

In the year 2014, SIIB started a semester exchange program with Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Under this programme, the selected students spend one full semester to study a mixture of knowledge-based learning through classroom sessions and skills-based learning, including projects and group assignments.

Dauphine University, Paris

The Dauphine University, Paris which is the capital of France, is a public university specialized in Organization and Decision Sciences, recognized for its multi-disciplinary approach, by its stakeholders on national and international levels.

It has a strength of almost 11,000 students with 23% being international students from 40 different countries. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities through more than 40 student associations on campus and 30 athletic disciplines.

The university hosts six research centers, all within the sector of Decision and Organization Sciences. Dauphine University has developed international relationships with 314 top-ranked universities across the world. The university holds close ties to the business world: internships, apprenticeship contracts and research chairs and corporate partnerships are merely a few examples of Paris-Dauphine.

In the year 2016, SIIB started a semester exchange programme with Dauphine University, Paris, France. Selected students spend one semester in Dauphine University, Paris. The programme gives international exposure to the students and equips them to face the world as future global managers. Also, the programme facilitates students to learn about the business environment and cultural diversity of the host country.

Leibniz University Hannover, Germany

Leibniz University of Hannover has more than 30,000 students studying in 9 faculties including the natural sciences and engineering, humanities and social sciences as well in law and economics.

The University offers many post graduate programmes in subjects like Engineering, Economics, Management, Natural Sciences, Humanities. They also offer niche courses related to the International Horticulture, International Agriculture Policy, Development Theory and Policy, Econometrics etc. The institute maintains active research relationships with several international organizations especially in food production, agriculture and natural resources. Contacts to universities in developing countries as well as in the USA and Europe underline the institute’s international orientation. SIU and Leibniz have had an active collaboration for more than a decade and are active partners for many activities including semester exchanges, summer schools and research.

In the year 2019, SIIB started a semester exchange program with Leibniz University, Hannover Germany where selected students would spend one semester form April to mid of July at the university.

RUDN University, Russia

The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia also known as RUDN University, is an educational and research institution located in Moscow. It was established in 1960 to provide higher education and is known as a multinational and multi-profiled university.

Academic and residential buildings are spread in an area of 50 hectares close to the forest plantation zone and include stadiums, gyms, arenas, tennis courts and a ski center creating favorable conditions for sport activities all year round. With a student strength of 22500, it is the first university in Russia to get 5 QS stars.

RUDN leads among Russian universities in the number of English-taught master’s programmes and covers all subjects including Humanities, Social Sciences, Management, Natural Sciences, Economics and even foreign languages.

Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS), Germany

Munich University of Applied Sciences (MUAS) is the second largest university of applied sciences in Germany. They have a student strength of approximately 18,500 students and have an option to choose from 84 UG and PG programmes in 14 departments.

MUAS ranks among the top 250 Universities in the European Teaching ranking as per the Times Higher education rankings. It offers a range of courses in Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences and Engineering, Business, Social Sciences and Public Health, Architecture and Design etc.

The Vancouver Summer Programme is an intensive four-week academic programme giving participants the opportunity to gain knowledge of culture and practices in Canada. Students attend the two weeks to one-month Summer school at UBC from mid-July to mid-August.
