About the conference
The International Conference on Environment, Sustainability, and Agri Business (ICESAB 2025) serves as a vital platform to address the urgent global challenges of climate change, sustainable global value chains, agri-business development and policy interventions, among others. About the conference
SIIB International Model United Nations 2026 (SIIB MUN) is a student-driven academic event to be hosted by the Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune. Our conference will bring together inquisitive minds from a variety of academic backgrounds to simulate the workings of global organizations and government bodies. Through immersive committee sessions and engaging dialogue, students develop a deeper understanding of diplomacy, negotiation, and contemporary international issues.

Leadership transition at SIIB
We are honored to announce the appointment of Mr. DIPEN PAUL as the new Deputy Director of Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune.
Prof. Paul has been integral to SIIB for over 11 years, contributing extensively to academics, research, and institutional development. A specialist in renewable energy, sustainability, ESG, and energy management, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the institute’s sustainability initiatives, including the solar rooftop project, a key component of SIIB’s carbon-neutral mission.
With 14+ years of experience, Prof. Paul has a distinguished career in research and academia, having published numerous papers in Scopus, SCI, WoS, and ABDC-indexed journals. He also holds multiple certifications in Sustainability Reporting, ISO 50001 (Energy Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems). Academically, he has submitted his Ph.D thesis in Solar Energy Technology at VIT University and holds an M.Tech in Energy Technology from DoT, Shivaji University, a B.E in Chemical Engineering from TKIET Warananagar, and a Diploma in Chemical Technology from ICT, Chennai. His interdisciplinary research and academic administration leadership have significantly strengthened SIIB’s academic ecosystem.

Change in Leadership at SIIB.
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Alka Maurya assumed office as Director and Professor at Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB). Having worked in Export Promotion Council, National Centre for Trade Information under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India and Export Houses during the initial eight years, she brings an overall rich experience of 28 years of export promotion, international business, out of which 20 years of experience is in teaching, research and consulting.  Dr. Maurya holds a Master’s degree  in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and PhD in International Business.
Her research areas are International Trade, Global and Regional Trade Agreements and International Business and New Age Technologies. She has published several books, papers in reputed International Journals indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science
We are confident that Dr. Maurya will provide exceptional leadership and guide SIIB through its next chapter of growth and success.
