On June 20th, 2024, the faculty and staff gathered for a live screening on the “Don’t Cross the Line: Awareness Session on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (POSH).” This essential session conducted by Ms. Renuka Mukadam, Management and Business Consultant, through online via Zoom.
The session emphasized the importance of understanding and preventing sexual harassment in the workplace. Ms. Mukadam discussed various aspects of the POSH Act, the responsibilities of employees and employers, and the procedures for reporting and addressing incidents of harassment. Her insights and guidance were aimed at fostering a safe and respectful work environment for all the employees at the workplace. The session promoted awareness, understanding, and proactive measures to prevent sexual harassment, thereby contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
SIIB underscored the significance of the POSH initiative and its role in ensuring workplace safety and respect through this session.
