BIZOOKA

Bizooka is the annual business plan competition organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of SIIB. Conceptualized with a vision to provide budding entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their business ideas, Bizooka aims to present the feasibility of their entrepreneurial dreams.

It is an initiative to foster a community and a mindset that promotes start-ups and entrepreneurship.

Bizooka 11.0 : Viksit Bharat – Journey Through Startup

This theme is a testament to the power of startups in driving socio-economic change and propelling India towards a more developed and self-reliant future. As we embark on the journey to Viksit Bharat, startups are playing a pivotal role in transforming India into a hub of innovation and development. By fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, we can unlock the nation’s potential, create employment opportunities, and drive sustainable growth. Startup Mela is an exciting platform curated by the E-Cell of SIIB to foster innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurial growth. This vibrant event offers startups an opportunity to showcase their groundbreaking ideas, network with like-minded individuals, and learn from industry experts to the ẻmerging future managers. Whether you are a budding entrepreneur or a seasoned professional, Startup Mela is the place to ignite your entrepreneurial spirit and take your startup journey to the next level. 31st Jan, 2025 – Business plan competition

Bizooka 11.0, a platform where entrepreneurial minds converge to script the narrative of a self-reliant and progressive India.

Viksit Bharat: Journey through Startups envisions a nation thriving with innovation, resilience, and transformative ideas. Bizooka 11.0, we aim to explore groundbreaking ventures that bridge societal needs and economic opportunities, laying the foundation for India’s startup ecosystem to shape the future.

Competition Rounds 

Round 1: Ideation Quiz (Online)

• A preliminary quiz focusing on India’s startup ecosystem, entrepreneurial trends, and policies with team members.

Round 2: Executive Summary Submission (Online)

• Teams will submit an executive summary of their business plan of 2-4 pages with a criterion of Identification of the problem/gap, proposed solution/idea/product, Revenue model, Connection with the theme (Viksit Bharat) and Scalability and long-term impact.

Round 3: Business Plan Submission (Online)

• Teams will submit a detailed presentation of their business model within 10 slides, this includes Business Model Overview, Sales & Marketing Strategy, Competitor Analysis & Differentiation, Value Proposition (Product/Service Description, Current Development Status), Customer & Market Analysis (Size and Potential), Sustainability and Scalability Plan.

Round 4: Grand Finale (Offline)

• Finalists will present their business plans before a distinguished jury and audience at the Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune.

In the competition, various colleges participated and advanced to the third round. Among them, some of the prominent colleges include Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), New Delhi, TAPMI Manipal, JBIMS Mumbai, IMI New Delhi, IIM Amritsar, NMIMS Mumbai, Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar, National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), Mumbai and many more.

In the grand occasion of Bizooka 11.0, we are proud to launch an inspiring Coffee Table Book that celebrates the remarkable journeys of distinguished alumni from SIIB who have made their mark as successful entrepreneurs.
