On 15th August, 2024, 78th Independence Day of India was celebrated at the Symbiosis Infotech Campus, Pune. The celebration was graced by the presence of Dr. Alka Maurya Director, SIIB, Dr. Dhanya Pramod, Director, SCIT, Dr. Netra Neelam, Director, SCMHRD, Campus administrator, Col. S. K. Mishra and the chief guest, Capt. Ramesh Chinchanikar, SAP SD Trainer, SAP Project Manager.
The celebrations began with the dignified unfurling of the national flag by Dr. Netra Neelam, Director, SCMHRD, accompanied by a moving rendition of the national anthem. Dr. Neelam then delivered an inaugural speech, followed by a key address from Col. S. K. Mishra. Moving forward, Capt. Chinchanikar addressed the students and highlighted the significance of India’s democracy. He also motivated the students to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom.
The celebration continued with the cultural programs, including lively performances by students, embodying the spirit of freedom and vibrancy. A heartfelt tribute was also extended to the service staff of Symbiosis Infotech Campus for their excellent contribution to the safety and security of the institution.
The event concluded with the three Directors releasing tricolored balloons into the open sky, symbolically marking the spirit of unity, freedom and patriotism.
