SIIB ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2021-23
Virtual Platform | 30th June – 9th July 2021| Batch 2021-23, Faculty and Staff – 250+
Orientation programme for the batch of 2021-23 commenced on 30th June 2021, with gracious online presence of the Chief Guest – Mr. Amit Vyas, Managing Director – Amul Dairy, the Guest of Honour – Mr. Akshaya Gujral, Chief-Sales at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India; all faculty members and students of the new batch.
The event kickstarted with the guests sharing their personal experiences and insights of their professional journeys. Owing to the pandemic situation, the event was organized in a virtual mode. While it was disheartening that this event was conducted in an online mode due to Covid situation, however the SIIB family ensured that student’s hearts are filled abundantly with pleasure, thrilling, insightful and quite engaging. Dr. Asmita Chitnis, Director-SIIB briefed about the Institution and encouraged students to make the best use of the new online experiences in their academic journey. Further, several students interacted with SIIB’s illustrious Alumni and distinguished personalities from the industry, who shared their insights and experiences about the corporate world. The students were motivated and prompted to thrive in achieving their life and career goals.

The speakers engaged quite interactively with all learners towards an understanding of the practical world right from ‘Management in Bhagwatgeeta’ to ‘Realigning MBA for the Business World’; and, from ‘Future of Work‘ to ‘Insights of Digital Marketing’.
The program instilled a feeling of connectivity in the students, and the fact that they were miles apart but nothing could stop them from learning and enhancing their knowledge.
