Dr. Prakash Rao is the Officiating Director, Professor and Head of the Energy and Environment Programme at Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. He has 40 years of experience with interests in climate change, energy and natural resource management sectors. He has published around 85 research
papers, notes and book chapters in peer reviewed international journals and books and undertaken several consultancies on environmental resource management. He contributes in an advisory capacity to the corporate sector on environmental sustainability issues. He is also the Deputy Editor of the International Journal of Agricultural Resources, Governance and Ecology (Inder science Publishers). Dr Rao has published four books with a recent publication on ‘Environmental Impacts of Tourism in Developing Nations’ with IGI Global Publishers, USA.
