ANUSMRUTI 2026, the Annual Alumni Meet of the Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), was celebrated with pride and warmth, bringing together alumni across generations to honour excellence, leadership, and the enduring legacy of the SIIB community. The event reflected the institute’s strong alumni connect and shared values, reinforcing lifelong bonds between the institution and its graduates. The event was graced by Dr. Alka Maurya, Director, SIIB, and Dr. Dipen Paul, Deputy Director, SIIB, along with distinguished faculty members and alumni from various batches. A special highlight of the evening was the presence of Dr. Rajni Gupte, Former Director of SIIB, whose association with the institute has been deeply impactful. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Rajni Gupte reflected on SIIB’s journey, its institutional values, and the enduring relationship between the institute and its alumni, inspiring the audience with a sense of pride and nostalgia.

Anusmruti 2026 held special significance as SIIB proudly hosted the Silver Jubilee Batch of 1999-2001, celebrating 25 years of their association with the institute. In addition, alumni from the 1994-1996, 2004-2006, and 2014-2016 batches joined the gathering, contributing to the diversity and richness of the reunion. A specially curated video presentation tracing SIIB’s evolution over the years was showcased, evoking pride and fond memories among the alumni and highlighting the institute’s journey of academic and institutional excellence.

SIIB Alumni Awards 2026

The SIIB Alumni Awards 2026 recognised alumni whose professional journeys exemplify leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability, institutional commitment, and global impact.

• Sarvashreshtha Award – Mr. Venkatesalu (Batch 1999–2001): Honoured for visionary leadership and corporate excellence as CEO and Executive Director at Trent Ltd.

• Udyami Award – Mr. Prabhash Chaudhary (Batch 2004–2006): Recognised for his entrepreneurial journey as Founder and CEO of Magistral Consulting.

• Rising Udyami Award – Mr. Abhishek Borah (Batch 2014–2016): Awarded for innovation in finance and entrepreneurship as Founder of DSAB Finserve.

• Green Excellence Award – Mr. Susheel Kumar (Batch 2004–2006): Honoured for leadership in agribusiness and sustainable agricultural innovation as Country Head and Managing Director at Syngenta.

• Woman Achiever Award – Ms. Naina Gupta (Batch 2004–2006):Felicitated for impactful leadership in financial planning and people management asVice President at Accenture.

• Sustainability Excellence Award – Mr. Rohit Pandita (Batch 2014–2016): Recognised for advancing global renewable energy initiatives through his role in international solar business development at Adani Solar.

• Pillar of the Institution Award – Mr. Vivek Kotru (Batch 1999–2001): Honoured for sustained contribution to SIIB and strengthening the alumni ecosystem.

• Global Excellence Award – Mr. Vipul Dadheech (Batch 1999–2001): Celebrated for global leadership and long-term business impact as Senior Vice President and Country Head at Powersolv Incorporation.

The cultural segment was presented by Team Kshitij, SIIB’s flagship social responsibility initiative. Their performance added vibrancy and emotional depth to the evening, blending expression, energy, and purpose. The act resonated strongly with the audience and reinforced SIIB’s commitment to empathy, social awareness, and impact beyond academics.

The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Suchita Jha, Faculty Coordinator, Alumni Relations Committee, who expressed sincere appreciation to the alumni, dignitaries, faculty members, and student volunteers for their collective efforts in making Anusmruti 2026 a success. The evening culminated with a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony, marking a moment of shared pride and reflection.

As the celebrations drew to a close, the warmth of conversations and the exchange of memories reaffirmed the enduring connection between SIIB and its alumni. ANUSMRUTI 2026 emerged as a dignified celebration of the institute’s legacy, honoring achievements, strengthening bonds, and reinforcing a shared commitment to excellence.
