The Entrepreneurship Cell at SIIB hosted its annual flagship event—Bizooka 12.0, the National-Level Business Plan Competition on January 30, 2026, at the SIIB Auditorium. This year’s theme, “From Idea to Impact: Inclusive Startups for a Digital Economy,” focused on fostering innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and real-world business application in India’s growing startup ecosystem. The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by the felicitation of the esteemed panelists.

Dr. Alka Maurya, Director of SIIB, shared her immense support for the initiative and discussed the event’s significance. A major highlight was the keynote address by Ms. Alina Alam, Founder of Mitti Café. She moved everyone in attendance with the incredible journey of her café, demonstrating how social entrepreneurship can create a profound impact.

The competition saw finalist teams from premier institutes across India, selected after rigorous preliminary rounds. Each team presented its business ideas to a distinguished jury, showcasing innovative solutions aligned with the theme.

  • Winner: Team Project Kanchan (IIM Udaipur) led by Aditya C Boricha

  • First Runner-Up: Team Earthloom (IIT Delhi) led by Vartika Verma

Following the business pitches, a panel discussion was held featuring founders from AI, fintech, healthcare, and premium brands. The panel included:

  • Mr. Omkar Patil: CTO, Pienomial

  • Ms. Nitika Garg: Founder & CEO, Sonrisa Healthcare

  • Mr. Kabir Kate: CMO, Solitario Diamonds

  • Mr. Hrishikesh Khairnar: Founder, Kwiqreply

  • Mr. Sumeet Pareek: Founder, Loan InTouch

The session was moderated by Dr. Suchita Jha, Faculty Head of the Entrepreneurship Cell at SIIB. The discussion provided students with a unique chance to learn directly from those shaping India’s startup ecosystem. Dr. Suchita Jha concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the participants, judges, panellists, and the organizing team for making BIZOOKA 12.0 a grand success.
