Theme: Requiem: Echoes of Beyond
Ignisense 2026, the annual flagship cultural, management, and sports fest of the Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune, was held from 19th to 21st February 2026 at the SIIB Auditorium and SIC Grounds. The event provided a dynamic platform for students to participate in management competitions, cultural showcases, and sports activities, fostering experiential learning, creativity, and collaboration.
The event commenced with an inaugural lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Alka Maurya, Director, SIIB, and Dr Dipen Paul, Deputy Director, SIIB, along with faculty members and distinguished guests. In her inaugural address, Dr Maurya highlighted the importance of Ignisense as a platform for holistic development, enabling students to apply academic learning through competitive, cultural, and collaborative experiences.
Day 01 – 19 February 2026
The first day featured several flagship management competitions, including Optiflow, the supply chain case competition focused on logistics and operations challenges. PeopleVerse, a human resources case competition designed to test strategic decision-making in workplace scenarios, and Synergy, a sustainability management competition that encourages innovative solutions to environmental and social challenges. The day also included Inquisitive, a national-level quiz competition that tested participants’ analytical thinking and domain knowledge. A major highlight was the inaugural edition of SIIB Model United Nations (SIIB MUN), which provided students with a platform to engage in diplomatic discussions, policy debates, and global problem-solving.
The evening featured vibrant cultural events, beginning with VogueVerse, the inter-college fashion show, which showcased creativity and artistic expression. The day concluded with a live musical performance by Devender Pal Singh, which created an engaging, energetic atmosphere for participants and attendees.

Day 02 – 20 February 2026
The second day continued with key management competitions, including The Capitalist 2026, a flagship finance case competition that tested participants’ financial analysis and strategic decision-making abilities. Thousand Faces, which assessed managerial versatility, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and Prastaav, a business proposal competition in which participants presented innovative, scalable business ideas. The Trailblazer Treasure Quest added an interactive element, challenging participants through team-based strategic and problem-solving activities.
The evening featured the Rhythm inter-college dance competition, followed by performances from SIIB’s student clubs, including Drishyam (Drama Club), iBeats (Dance Club), and Raag (Music Club). The cultural celebrations culminated in a live performance by Maahi, followed by an energetic DJ session that brought the day to a festive close.

Day 03 – 21 February 2026
The final day featured sports events organised in collaboration with the SIIB Sports Committee, including Volleyball and Futsal, which witnessed enthusiastic participation and promoted teamwork and sportsmanship. Sponsor engagements and giveaways further enhanced the celebratory environment.
Ignisense 2026 successfully provided students with opportunities to demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, creativity, and teamwork across management, cultural, and sports domains, reinforcing SIIB’s commitment to holistic student development and experiential learning.
