Synopsis:
On 7th July 2021, the new batch of 2021-23 attended a Guest lecture by Mr. Ajay Mishra, Founder, and Director of KOAK Education Pvt Ltd. Mr. Mishra began the session by narrating his journey right from his school days up till his conversion as an MBA student at SIIB Pune, describing all the achievements and obstacles he faced. He then proceeded by giving three key learnings to face the corporate world in a very positive approach.
Mr. Mishra explained how challenges create strong personalities and how goals challenge you. Further, Mr. Mishra focused on the importance of networking through the quote “Your network is your net worth” and suggested students not restrict their connections. Mr. Mishra explained the strategy to enhancing one’s communication skills by working with a combination of confidence, clarity, and command of the language, where he prioritized clarity to be the most important factor of communication.
At last, Mr. Mishra discussed the importance of friction in life by explaining how to deal with criticism in life and how it makes us stronger.
The session concluded with an interactive Q & A session.

Overall Feedback: The session was very interactive and the students were too inquisitive and participated with full enthusiasm. It was very helpful to get a brief insight of how to handle criticism, how to improve communication skill and succeed in life.
